I hail from Thiruvaiyar, Tanjore. My family has been dedicated to purohitham for the past several generations. I started learning the vedas at the age of 7. My vedic education, which spans more than 15 years, includes 7 years of full-time learning at some of the best gurukulams in Tamilnadu. I was fortunate to have been taught by some of India’s eminent pundits and under their tutelage I have not only mastered the vedas but also the Dharmasastras and several intricate prayogas and kaamyartha homas, some of which have been guarded as a secret for a long time. As Sarvasaadaka, I have conducted several Temple Kumbabishekams (Aagama and Vedic vidhi) and several Maha Yagnas such as Ati Rudra, Sahasra Chandi, etc (as Sarvaadhyaksha). I am proficient in Upanyaasam (discourse), Sampradaya Bhajan, Vedic Astrology and several Parihaara homas (Remedies). I, along with a group of pundits, have done extensive research and revived the Puranoktham format of conducting the 40 Samskharas. This format of samskharas can be used for Hindus and Non-Hindus (including foreigners). My greatest ambition in life is to spread the goodness of the vedas to everyone, all over the world and thereby make this world a better place to live in.

Details of Outstanding Achievements and Honours Former President and Secretary of Sri Vaidhika Paripalana Sabha, Chennai - 600 033 which is an association of Vedic Pundits for service to humanity and encouraged many youngsters in the human service for well being of all people.

 Current Head teacher of Sri Veda Vidya Ashram, Chennai – an institution which imparts vedic knowledge to children and adults.

 Conducted the 'Ahila Bharatha Chaturveda Sarva Sakha Sammelan' in which more than 1000 pundits all over India participated and performed the Sammelan. This was conducted at the famous 'Ayodhya Mandapam' from 01-03-2002 to 13-03-2002.

 I was given the special honour of performing ‘Veda Ghosham’ and ‘Swasthi Vachanam’ during the 'Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peehathipathi Jagadguru Sankararacharya Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji Peetarohana Swarna Jayanthi Celebrations' conducted at the University of Madras Centenary Hall on 22nd March 2003. This programme was attended by a number of top dignitaries including the King of Nepal, Sri. Lal Krishna Advaniji, who was Deputy Prime Minister at that time and five Governors of the Indian States. I received a special mention and appreciation for my performance from all the chief guests and the entire audience. 

Conducted the 'Athi Rudhra Maha Yagnam' at the Melappalayur Shivakshetram near Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, India in which more than 125 vedic pundits participated.

 Conducted the 'Maha Kumbhabishekam' of Sri Vedhapureeswarar temple in Cheyyar, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu, India, as Sarvasadhaka, heading 150 sivachariyars, on 13th july 2005.

 Conducted 'Sahasra Chandi Maha yagnam' at Kalpattu near Villupuram, Tamilnadu, when I managed 110 Devi Upaasakas (Pundits) Conducted Discourses on 'Ramayan', 'Mahabharatham', 'Bagavad Gita', 'Subhashitham' and 'Neethi Shashtram'.
